Shortlist GTM Engineering
GTM engineering firm

When your buyer asks an AI who to buy from, it answers with three names.

We build the systems that decide:

→

whether AI tools and agents can read your business

→

whether they cite you when your market asks a question

→

whether they can transact with you

If you're not on the shortlist, a competitor is.

How your buyer sees you

“A trusted partner with fifteen years of experience, dedicated to delivering excellence and building lasting relationships with our clients…”

Every adjective on this side is invisible to the reader that now builds the list. Switch to Agent.

Why now

The buying committee added a member that doesn't read marketing.

Your next enterprise buyer will not start on Google, and will not start on your homepage. They will ask a model, and the model will hand back a short list.

57.5%

of web requests are already automated, not human. Most sites are still built entirely for the shrinking half.

+60%

higher conversion from AI-referred visitors than organic search. They arrive pre-qualified, having been told you are a credible answer.

3

names come back per question. Not ten blue links. Three. Page two of the search results does not exist any more.

Services

Three layers. Built in order, because each one depends on the last.

01 foundation

Readable

A machine can arrive at your site and leave with nothing. We rebuild the substrate so what you sell, to whom, at what price, on what terms, is unambiguous to a parser.

llms.txt + markdown endpoints
schema.org entity graph
crawler access & rate policy
canonical facts, one source
02 demand

Cited

Being readable gets you parsed. Being cited gets you named. We work the sources models actually pull from, against the specific questions your buyers ask.

buyer question mapping
citation source targeting
comparison & alternatives pages
answer-share monitoring
03 conversion

Transactable

The last mile, and the one nobody has built yet. When an agent is sent to price, schedule, or procure on a buyer's behalf, it needs a door that opens.

MCP server + tool surface
agent-legible pricing & terms
booking / quote endpoints
identity & trust signals
Process

Evidence first. You see the gap before you commit to anything.

01 · week 0 · free

Audit

We run your site the way an agent runs it, ask the models your buyers' questions, and show you who gets named instead of you.

02 · week 1–2

Blueprint

A sequenced build plan across the three layers, priced, with the revenue argument for each item written in your numbers.

03 · week 3–10

Build

We implement with your team, in your stack. Everything shipped is yours, documented, and maintainable without us.

04 · ongoing

Monitor

Answer-share tracked against your competitors, monthly. Models change their minds; you find out before your pipeline does.

The audit

Find out what the models say about you. It costs nothing.

Give me your site, two competitors, and one question your buyers ask. You get back a written read on how machine-readable your business is, and the transcript of who gets recommended when that question is asked.

→ delivered in 5 business days
→ no call required to receive it
→ written by the principal, not a tool
FAQ

The objections worth raising.

Isn't this just SEO with a new name?

SEO optimises for a ranked page of links a human scans. This optimises for a synthesised answer naming three vendors, and for an agent that has to act on it. Different reader, different artifact, different work. The third layer isn't content at all; it's an interface.

Can you guarantee we get cited?

No, and be careful with anyone who does. What I can do is make you legible, make the sources models trust say the right things about you, and measure your answer-share monthly so the work is accountable to a number.

Our engineering team is already stretched.

Layer one is mostly additive files and markup, not a replatform. Where engineering time is genuinely required, the blueprint says so up front with the hours attached, so nobody discovers it mid-quarter.

Why not wait until this settles down?

Citation position compounds: models lean on sources that already reference you, so early presence is self-reinforcing. Waiting means arriving after your competitor is the incumbent answer.

Who actually does the work?

I do. The roster is capped so that stays true. If that means you wait a few weeks to start, I'll tell you that instead of staffing it out.
